Location: Syracuse, NY (Travel Required)
Pay Range: $75,517.30 to $94,396.62. Actual pay will depend on experience.

Position Summary: Business Development Manager
AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on membership growth, lending production, and partner engagement.
This role is responsible for driving business development strategy while leading Member Partner Advisors and Direct Lending Relationship Managers. The Business Development
Manager will play a key role in expanding community partnerships, strengthening dealer relationships, and delivering measurable growth across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development Manager
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of business development professionals
  • Drive accountability and performance aligned to organizational goals
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development planning
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

Growth & Sales Strategy
  • Drive membership growth, consumer lending production, and overall business development performance
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and referral generation
  • Manage incentive programs, sales tracking, and performance reporting
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and strategies to improve market penetration

Partnerships & Relationship Management
  • Develop and expand relationships with:
    • Employer groups
    • Community partners
    • Dealerships and referral sources
  • Strengthen dealer relationships to support direct lending growth
  • Represent AmeriCU at community and industry events to promote growth and brand awareness

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal teams to align business development initiatives with organizational goals
