Job description

To accurately record cash receipts against patient account balances and payor logs. To process cash receipts and forward to Cashier for deposit. To accurately input statistical data for log, such as: Medicare Part A and B, Medicaid and Blue Cross, etc.

To develop, maintain, correct, balance, and summarize all third party payor logs. To accurately input cash posting, to transfer self pay balance to patients, to appropriately notate rejections on the patient's bill and contractualize where needed.
