Status: Exempt
Grade: 10
Salary Range: $55,588 - $102,474
Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: MA, RI, CT, NY, VT
Purpose/Objective:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who is highly passionate about leveraging technology to extract and share insights using creative data visualizations. The BI Analyst will partner with business stakeholder and Technology teams to design, develop, and implement innovative analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will weave together disparate data, derive insights, and build a compelling story to drive action.
Key Accountabilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence applications.
• Gather and analyst business requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Assist with data validation needed for reporting automation.
• Create and automate Enterprise-Scale dashboards, standard reports, and ad-hoc reports to provide critical business insights for entire organization.
• Collaborate with other analysts and engineers to optimize dashboards and develop self-service capabilities.
• Act as BI SME for Power BI users across the company.
• Look for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices as a BI analyst.
• Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related discipline
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience using business intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• 3+ years of Experience with Analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python
Skills & Knowledge:
• Solid experience with prototyping and designing reporting and visualization solutions
• Firm understanding of both Power BI desktop and publishing out to the service
• Exposure to cloud-based solutions such as MS Azure, Snowflake
• Experience taking large volumes of data and condensing it into actionable insights
• Attention to detail to ensure the highest level of quality/rigor in reports & analyses
• Highly flexible, with the ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
• Strong communication skills including the ability to deliver a clear story with data and insights
