Job description


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Research market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, events, and industry contacts. Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers for potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Represent the company at meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on business development progress. Support account planning and customer retention strategies.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and market development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business reporting tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in ESP/Artificial Lift
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles or strategic accounts.
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and commercial terms.
  • Ability to travel as required.
