Job Description:
Job Summary
The Employment Center Business Assistant will support employment, onboarding, and payroll-related processes for the Ag, HHS, & Vet Med Employment Center. The primary responsibility of this position is serving as the center's primary I-9 verifier by completing Form I-9 verifications and reverifications in accordance with federal and university guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include processing employment-related requests, monitoring employment and work authorization requirements, and assisting faculty, staff, students, and business offices with employment and payroll-related questions. This position will also serve as a resource to assist staff with payroll processes and resolve situational problems, act as a liaison between customers and central offices, and utilize TDX and email to manage workflow.
This position requires an on-campus presence to support operational needs.

  • 3 or more years of payroll experience
  • Must have experience in providing a high level of customer service
