What does a building permit coordinator do?

A Building Permit Coordinator manages the process of obtaining building permits for construction projects. They review plans, ensure all documentation meets local regulations, and communicate with city or county permitting departments. Their role often involves tracking permit applications, resolving issues that may delay approval, and keeping project teams informed about permit status. By coordinating these activities, they help ensure that projects move forward smoothly and comply with legal requirements.

These skills ensure accurate permit processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination among stakeholders in construction projects.
