Position Summary

The Branch Manager plays a key leadership role in driving business growth and profitability within a designated geographic area. This position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing branch operations to achieve sales and performance goals.

You'll lead the charge in identifying and securing new clients, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across your branch team.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for new, active, and inactive accounts.

  • Identify prospects and create customized approaches to win new business.

  • Conduct independent and joint sales calls with branch and management teams.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

  • Build and maintain relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.

  • Partner with internal teams and headquarters to tailor solutions and close deals.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and business results.

  • Represent Surge Staffing at local networking events to strengthen community presence and brand recognition.

Leadership & Branch Operations

  • Serve as the primary sales and business development leader for the branch.

  • Collaborate with field and regional management to plan and execute strategic initiatives.

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability consistent with company goals and forecasts.

  • Support team members with guidance, training, and coaching to ensure success.

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in a consultative, solution-based environment.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, including prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and closing.

  • Experience in staffing, human resources, or business services is a plus.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online tools.
