The Licensed Medicare Benefit Advisor position is available in all U.S. States except for AK, CA, CO, HI, NM, WA, & WY.
The AHB Benefit Advisor is responsible for driving Medicare Sales through professional and consultative selling on plan options in prospect areas while in an inside sales environment. Additionally, Benefit Advisors may have some opportunity with some IFP (Individual & Family plans) and Ancillary Product Sales through consultative selling on plan options.

As a Medicare Benefit Advisor, you'll utilize your in-depth Medicare knowledge and sales skills to consult retired seniors on the most beneficial Medicare Life and Health Plans that best suit their specific needs. Key Responsibilities

Receives inbound calls from customers who have questions on health insurance options in 20-50 states

Assists with escalated customer issues

Provides a positive customer experience with excellent customer satisfaction

Meets sales and productivity goals on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis

Updates customer file in CRM with summary of interaction

Maintains responsibility to act as a member of the management team to facilitate call center opening/closing procedures as needed for Aspire Carrier Team

Makes outbound sales calls on a variety of sales campaigns

Recommends plans and enrolls prospects based on the customer's needs

Quotes, presents, and closes sales while overcoming objections

Follows up on "book of business" on a consistent basis by making outbound follow up calls to prospects

Essential Duties as a full-time Medicare Benefit Advisor:
  • Consult and educate seniors 65 years of age and older on the best Medicare Life and Health Plans that would best suit their needs. Consultations and enrollments are completed over the phone.

  • There's no prospecting here! Your leads will be provided

  • Answer calls from customers who have questions on health insurance options

  • Make outbound sales calls on a variety of sales campaigns

  • Meet sales and productivity goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis

Certifications and Licensures needed:
  • Must currently hold an Active General Lines L&H License in state of residence.


Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of sales or related experience preferred

  • Excellent work ethic and adherence to work schedule

  • Ability to work independently and hold yourself accountable for your performance while adhering to your work schedule

  • Able to navigate multiple computer programs at one time

  • Reliable internet with plug-in ethernet/network cable and a dedicated workspace in your home; Allstate will provide all the equipment

  • HS Diploma or GED is required

  • The total compensation range for this position is $55,000.00 - $100,000+ per year (Salary + Uncapped Monthly Medicare Discretionary Incentive Plan)
