Job description

Overview:

The Licensed Virtual Benefits Advisor helps retirees and Medicare-eligible individuals understand and enroll in health, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans. This role focuses on educating customers, conducting needs-based consultations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while meeting compliance and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Medicare and health plan consultations and enroll members in appropriate coverage.
  • Manage pre-scheduled appointments and follow-up activities.
  • Handle inbound customer service and enrollment calls.
  • Respond to voicemails, chats, and customer inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, AHIP, and carrier certification requirements.
  • Meet or exceed performance and quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License required.
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Medicare or health insurance sales experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, computer, and multitasking skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Active health license with all CE requirements completed.
  • No active carrier appointments.
  • Flexibility with schedule and willingness to work as a captive agent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $43680.00/yr.
