Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Plan Administrator to oversee and manage Taft-Hartley benefit plans, including health, pension, and annuity funds. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, compliance with federal regulations, and effective communication with trustees and plan professionals. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of benefit plans and supporting the overall administration process to meet organizational and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Taft-Hartley benefit plans, including health, pension, and annuity funds.
  • Maintain accurate records of plan activities, participant data, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as ERISA, DOL, and specific plan requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for trustees, plan professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation of meeting reports and documentation necessary for plan meetings.
  • Reconcile accounts related to benefit plans to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to benefit administration and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in benefits administration, preferably within Taft-Hartley or multi-employer benefit plans.
  • Strong understanding of ERISA, DOL regulations, and plan compliance requirements.

Salary Range: $61,528.26 - $74,098.55
