In this position you would be responsible for following up with prospective customers; working with new and existing customers to schedule and confirm appointments; and reminding customers of sales appointments for new and existing customers. You would report directly to the BDC Manager.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required
  • Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service BDC Service experience (Preferred)
  • Minimum 3 year of 3-6 months of previous over the phone customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone, writing and typing skills
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have a drive, passion and confidence to be successful
  • Professional appearance and work ethic a must
  • Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary)
  • Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Valid driver's license

Essential Duties, but not limited to:
  • Follow up with prospective customers in response to their email on our website.
  • Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel.
  • Provides administrative assistance as needed.
  • Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed.
  • Maintain an owner follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories, inventory and their benefits to the customer.
  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and be devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
  • Establish personal goals that are consistent with the dealership's standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Provide service management information by completion reports.
  • Attend service meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Periodically conduct physical inventory of merchandise.
