Job description

The BDC Representative Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.90 and $16.90. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed hours achieved from $0.00 (if no hours are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
Position Purpose
The BDC Representative focuses on the overall productivity of the Sales Department for the dealership. The BDC Representative is responsible for generating new and existing business for the dealership utilizing dealership programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Generates and confirms appointments utilizing the dealership provided software
• Organize New Client Orientation with Sales Managers
• Follow up on the "No Show" sales customer appointments and reschedules
• Daily follow up on clients that did not purchase a vehicle foreseeing a return visit to purchase.
• Capture and record every customer email address and update customer information in database accurately
• Report and log all activity in E-Leads
• Report and log daily activity in systems set up by dealership
• Ability to work with satisfied customers and unsatisfied customers
• Ability to pay attention to great detail to ensure total customer satisfaction
• Clearly and effectively communicates with diverse work group and customers; handles frustration and pressure.
• Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Build client relationships and establish rapport via telephone
• Attend and participate in all required trainings
• Fills in for receptions when coverage is needed.
• Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
• Adhere to established dress code policy at all times.
• Adheres to work schedule and arrive at work at your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.
• Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.
• Other related duties as may be assigned.
