The Baker is a key member of the Production Team at The Cake Bake Shop and plays an essential role in producing high-quality baked goods that uphold the brand’s standards for taste, consistency, and presentation. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients, baking a variety of products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment in a fast-paced production kitchen.

Baker Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare workstations and gather ingredients and supplies needed for daily baking production.

  • Measure, weigh, and prepare baking ingredients using appropriate tools and resources.

  • Bake a variety of pastry products including cakes, cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts according to established recipes and brand standards.

  • Monitor baking processes, adjusting temperatures and bake times to ensure product quality and consistency.

  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products, reporting issues to leadership as needed.

  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and baking tools safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain a sanitized, well-organized baking station in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Follow all food safety procedures, sanitation guidelines, and company policies at all times.

  • Support other production team members during peak production periods.

  • Perform additional baking-related duties as assigned to support production operations.
