Job description

About Standard Bots
Standard Bots is building the next generation of industrial robots -- hardware that's powerful, affordable, and designed to scale. We're moving fast from prototype to high-volume production, and keeping our sales, production, and shipping operations running without a hitch requires someone at the center of it all. This role is central to that.
Note: This role is hybrid, with three days per week on-site at our Glen Cove, NY office.
The Role
We're looking for a Sales Operations Associate to be the connective tissue between our sales, production, and shipping teams -- making sure every order moves from sale to delivery accurately and on time. You'll own order and inventory accuracy in HubSpot, track loaner units and returns, coordinate across teams, and keep our Glen Cove office ready for in-person customer visits.
This role is well suited to a new or recent college graduate looking to build a career in operations. No prior experience is required -- exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are our top priority, and we'll teach you the rest.
What You'll Do
Order Management & Fulfillment
- Finalize sales orders, confirming accuracy and completeness before they move to fulfillment
- Use HubSpot to track orders and serial numbers, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Coordinate closely across the sales, production, and shipping teams to keep orders moving smoothly from start to finish
Inventory & Returns
- Count and reconcile inventory, monitor stock levels, and flag shortages before they become problems
- Place orders to replenish inventory and ensure the team always has what it needs on hand
- Track loaner units in the field -- monitoring what's out, with whom, and when it's due back
- Manage returns and RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations), coordinating the return, inspection, and processing of units
Data & Systems
- Maintain clean, reliable operational data across systems -- orders, serial numbers, inventory, and loaner status
- Keep HubSpot records accurate and current as orders and units move through the pipeline
Office & Customer Readiness
- Prepare and stage the Glen Cove office for in-person customer meetings, ensuring the space and materials are ready to make a strong impression
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail -- this is our top priority, especially when handling data, orders, serial numbers, loaners, and returns
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent; new and recent graduates are encouraged to apply -- no prior work experience is required
- Comfort learning and working in business systems such as HubSpot (or a comparable CRM) and spreadsheets
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to juggle several priorities at once
- Reliable availability to work on-site in Glen Cove three days per week
Nice to Have
- Internship or work experience in operations, order management, inventory, or a coordination-heavy role
- Familiarity with HubSpot, inventory management, or ERP tools
- Exposure to a manufacturing, hardware, or product-based environment
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000, based on experience. We are open to a variety of seniority levels for this role and will build compensation packages that are commensurate with seniority and skill level. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All Full-Time Employees are eligible for Employee Stock Options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
