Your new role -  The Sales Operations Associate is a member of the Sales Operations team. This position provides essential operational support to the sales, finance, legal and segment teams throughout the customer pre-sales, contracting, and renewal processes - including maintaining accurate contract information in Salesforce and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across all functions. This role provides dedicated Sales Operations support to the Government, Funder, and Non-Profit (GFN) segment, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the new business and renewals cycle. Please note, strong preference for someone in USA, EST hours. 
  • Providing operational, administrative and clerical support to several departments - mostly sales, finance and legal - and to all companies that are part of the Digital Science group. Focus on pre-sales support, contracting and customer renewals. 
  • Ensuring Salesforce is accurately updated with customer contract information for use by Finance, Sales, Legal, and business teams. 
  • Supporting the legal team in ensuring that approved contracts are signed by the right signees. 
  • Maintaining central repositories of customer and vendor contracts where applicable. 
  •  Responding in a timely manner to support business retention and meeting timelines to submit contracts, RFPs, registrations, and other key documents. 
  • Proactively identify areas of process improvement and collaborate with the team and Sales Operations Manager on improvements. 
  •  A Bachelor's degree, ideally business related. 
  • 2-3 years of experience in an operations-focused role, ideally sales-related. 
  • Efficient, excellent attention to detail, organised and a natural problem solver. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders (including customers, government procurement, etc.) across various levels of seniority. 
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and pivot quickly. 
  • Team-oriented with an emphasis on team building and communication. 
  • Resourceful, solution focused with a positive attitude.
  • Proactive in following-up and confident in managing conflicting requests and expectations. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships, being approachable and professional. 
  • Understanding of working with cross functional teams across various locations and time-zones. 
  • Salesforce knowledge is a requirement. 
  • Experience supporting a Government, Funder, and Non-Profit (GFN) sales team is highly desirable
