Job Summary

Support daily business operations by executing warehouse processes, assisting customers, and contributing to inside sales activities. Build foundational knowledge across operations, product lines, and customer engagement to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness through cross-functional collaboration.

Essential Job Functions*

  • Learn and perform core warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Handle inventory activities such as stocking, organizing, and assisting with cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Assist customers at the counter with order placement, product selection, and service-related inquiries.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and solution-oriented customer service aligned with company standards.
  • Support inside sales activities by preparing quotes and entering customer orders into systems.
  • Track and follow up on customer orders, quotes, and service requests to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop working knowledge of product lines and applications to effectively support customers and team members.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate order processing and fulfillment.
  • Communicate order discrepancies, inventory issues, or customer concerns to appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Maintain organized workspaces in both warehouse and customer-facing areas to support efficiency and safety.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards in all operational activities.
  • Continuously build skills across operations, sales support, and customer service functions to increase effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment

Sales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands

Sales/Service: Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occassionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
