Job description
The Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games will be hosted in Los Angeles, California in 2028, returning to the United States for the first time in over 30 years. 2028 will be the first time LA hosts the Paralympic Games, creating an opportunity to expand awareness, understanding and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Our vision is to collectively create what's next through sport, community and the power of our differences.
The 2028 Olympics and Paralympics will represent LA and leverage the strength of our community's creativity as we collectively work to design a Games that we all want to be a part of. We do this by focusing on people and by inviting everyone into the story of the LA28 Games.
The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

- Integrity - We communicate openly and honestly, listen, and respectfully value multiple perspectives; we do what we say and are accountable for everything we do; we do the right thing, always. Even when it isn't easy
- Excellence - We hold ourselves to the highest standard and expectations; we live our values and truths and persevere through challenges; we are continuous learners and adapt and pivot with speed to meet changing needs
- Inclusion - We seek to represent, include, empower and level the playing field; our work reflects the communities we serve and the world in which we live; we leverage our platforms to bring awareness to issues relevant to who we are
- Co-Creation - We are authors of a shared story. Everyone contributes their unique voice to our shared mission; we share pride in our accomplishments and ownership of our shortcomings
- Boldness - We embrace creativity, courage and outside-the-box thinking; we are unafraid to take risks, explore unconventional solutions, and learn from the process; we are innovators, disruptors, and challengers of the status quo
LA28 is designing the future of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Brand Design team is at the heart of that transformation. We are visionaries building the unexpected, grounded in the creative spirit of Los Angeles. With Games time fast approaching, our team is hard at work executing on every creative detail. It requires the ability to balance multiple projects in varying stages of development simultaneously, ensuring requirements and executional expectations are met for each asset. Positioned for a wide creative reach, each day will offer new opportunities for this individual to build expertise in a variety of disciplines and become a trusted source of truth for teams throughout the Games.
Key Responsibilities:

- Skilled in stakeholder management across cross-functional partners, setting timelines, identifying dependencies, and driving work forward to meet deadlines
- Proactive problem solver with an eye for risk assessment and a bias toward action
- Proficient in Smartsheet or similar project management tools (Asana, Wrike, Workfront)
- Working knowledge of creative tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
- Comfortable in a Microsoft environment including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to foster trusting relationships with teammates, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders
- Capable of working independently and proactive in communicating project statuses, surfacing blockers, and keeping involved team members aligned
- Naturally organized with a systematic approach to using structured workflows and managing project documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to clearly and concisely convey information across audiences
- A passion for design, culture, and the power of creative storytelling at a global scale
- This isn't just another gig - it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the look, feel, and experience of LA28. If you're ready to deliver projects that will live on in Olympic and Paralympic history for generations to come, let's build together
