Job Title: Associate Project ManagerOverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and motivated Associate Project Manager to support operational and project-driven initiatives within a dynamic life sciences environment. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements, maintain project timelines, and ensure successful execution of key business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and track project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
- Build process maps and identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support SKU setup and system-related processes across internal platforms
- Analyze operational data and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and on-time project delivery
- Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications- Proven experience supporting project management activities, including planning, tracking, and execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
- Experience in process improvement and SOP development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and database systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Experience or exposure to life sciences, biotechnology, or related industries
- Knowledge of biological technologies and/or laboratory processes

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Work Environment- On-site role located in Carlsbad, CA
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility to start as early as 7:00 AM as needed
- This is a fully on-site position (no remote work available)
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
