Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.
Job Duties
  • Collect and analyze data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead or competition pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies or standardize pricing guidelines
  • Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin
  • Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
  • May provide customized pricing to the sales team
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
  • Perform work under minimal supervision
  • Pricing Analyst experience
  • Analyze large datasets
  • Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
  • Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience

Competencies/ Skills
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
