What You'll Do:

Responsible for deployment, quality, and measurement of pricing strategy. Supports Regional Pricing Managers, sales, and product managers to implement pricing across multiple product lines and customers.  Identify business tools for data driven decision-making to maintain pricing competitiveness, generate business and maximize profits.

Primary Duties:

  • Must be authorized to work in the US 
  • Understands the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
  • Implement price changes with a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness. Track request turn-around time and events causing delays. Work collaboratively with branches to improve accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supports the company’s margin and pricing strategic plans / profitability goals.  Looks for consistency between the sales and pricing strategies.  Establishes pricing programs aligned with product / sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Prepare analysis for discretionarily-priced customers and analysis of current contract customers for review to suggest pricing strategies.  Recommend changes for optimal margin enhancement.
  • Designs and performs timely price analyses and develops high impact pricing tools, templates and models.  Conduct pricing reviews for the business units served.
  • Prepare sales data reports to identify profit opportunities.  Compile documentation to support impact of price and market changes.
  • Understand all pricing programs and ensure their accurate, consistent implementation. Enter, maintain and update the system pricing in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with standardizing operating procedures for various pricing functions.
  • Troubleshoot pricing anomalies and inconsistencies. Question low margin or errors from Sales on margin tool.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant pricing procedures and practices and train field employees accordingly.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years experience of direct project management success, strategic planning/operations and/or business related experience
  • BA / BS in Business, Finance or related field preferred.  
  • Must possess strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail are required. 
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple and rapidly shifting priorities. 
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant pricing tools / technology. Advanced Excel is strongly preferred.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
