ERMCO is looking for a Recruiter that will be responsible for executing recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified talent in support of the company's operational goals. This role serves as a key partner in the hiring process by sourcing candidates, evaluating qualifications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining effective candidate relationships. This is a 100% in-office position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn, online job boards, professional networks, industry associations, and external recruiting partners to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified talent and build candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill and future positions.
  • Utilize BambooHR Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate communications, track applicant activity throughout the recruitment process, monitor hiring pipeline status, and access recruitment data and reporting
  • Review resumes and employment applications; assess candidate qualifications, skills, and experience; conduct applicant screenings; coordinate and participate in interviews; and recommend qualified candidates for consideration.
  • Assist the HR team with preparing and extending employment offers as needed, ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants and candidates, providing timely updates, responding to inquiries, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Foster positive candidate experiences by building and maintaining professional relationships with applicants, candidates, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, recruitment events, and industry networking opportunities to attract and engage prospective candidates.
  • Ensure recruiting, interviewing, and selection activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate recruitment and candidate records and consistent hiring procedures.
  • Assist in Human Resources and Training as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:
  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience required
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, professional networks, social media platforms, and other recruiting resources.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws governing recruitment, applicant screening, interviewing, selection, and hiring practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be an open communicator willing to talk to anyone and everyone; must be able to express ideas and information effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/or with a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate multiple processes simultaneously, and meet established timelines
