Job description


The Publishing Manager will oversee site operations primarily related to the trading metadata that makes up the displays, navigation and other customer-facing features related to trading-based content. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations ensuring that we're presenting our betting content in a way that's relevant, organized and convenient for customers to interact with.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the publishing of homepage content, prioritizing based on customer volume and time sensitivity
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a homepage schedule for daily event promotion
  • Delegate daily planning, execution and quality assurance tasks related to specific sports, competitions or events to specialists and coordinators
  • Coordinate with the Trading team on the ingesting, display configuration, organization and promotion of any new markets/market templates
  • Maintain and enforce a consistent market organization strategy to ensure ease of navigation and findability for customers
  • Ensure all content promotion strategy is in line with the overall business strategy
  • Coordinate with the CRM team on any push notifications around Quick Picks or Odds Boost markets
  • Perform routine sanity checks to ensure homepage content is up to date, plentiful, and displaying as expected
  • Conduct routine check-ins and end-of-year reviews with direct reports
  • Establish any areas of improvement to potentially increase operational efficiency
  • Assist tech teams in facilitating tests when needed
  • Create and update process documentation
  • Onboard and train new team members

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a digital sportsbook or related industry
  • Extensive knowledge of the sports calendar
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of company goals
  • Ability to manage several team members
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with Content Management Systems
  • Experience using data to inform decision-making

Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work nights & weekends
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule for major sporting events

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 USD, which is dependent on a several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.
