Job Summary
Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, financial reporting, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures are in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Direct and coordinate divisional financial planning and budget management functions.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and sites.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows as well as financial accuracy.
  • Manage the preparation of financial reports, financial outlooks and financial forecasts in coordination with Operational Leadership.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial health, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making through key performance indicators.
  • Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range divisional financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
  • Support financial and operational audits as required and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, explain variances and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
  • Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting, forecasting, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence operational teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.

Preferred Requirements:
  • CPA Designation, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and/or Master's in Business Administration
  • Five to ten years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position

Job Compensation
Compensation $90,000 to $140,000 based on experience.
