Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager
Salary: $45,000-55,000
Comprehensive benefits package
Location: Phoenix, AZ area
Independent insurance agency is seeking an assistant commercial lines account manager to service a book of commercial lines accounts. The position will be required to respond to commercial client calls about policy and coverage questions and consult with clients on policy changes. Will be working with/assisting other account managers.
This is great opportunity for someone in personal lines seeking an opportunity to transition to commercial lines, or for someone with limited commercial lines experience seeking the opportunity expand their insurance knowledge and advance their insurance career.
Responsibilities:
Some working knowledge of Property and Casualty accounts is desired.
Research and compile answers to client policy and coverage questions
Ability to assist with the marketing/quoting process.
Some experience with multiple carrier underwriters desired.
Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewal
Qualifications
1-3 years of insurance industry experience related to servicing commercial accounts
Property and Casualty license
Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software experience preferred
Knowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage business
Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Verbal and written communication skills
