Job description

Position Description: Office Assistant/Bookkeeper

Reports To: Parking Operations Manager


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the recording and reporting of monthly parking financial information.
  • Manage PARIS parking monthly billing system and assist customers
  • Analyzes and verifies information maintaining and developing spreadsheet reconciliations.
  • Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; i.e. reconciling accounts
  • Review and approve the preparation of journal entries for financial statements.
  • Disseminate relevant financial information to the applicable individuals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with fellow staff and outside auditors to complete a financial statement audit.
  • Prepare reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years commensurate experience. .
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Experience using PARIS monthly parking billing system
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required. Advanced excel skill preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently within a fast-paced operation.
  • Must organize time effectively with extreme time management skills.
  • Must be detail & task oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.


Physical Requirements:

  • Carrying, lifting, pulling or pushing items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
