SALES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - AEROSPACE FASTENERS

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Candidates without fastener industry experience will not be considered.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading Aerospace Fastener Distributor with over 40 years of industry success. They are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support sales, customer accounts, order processing, quotations, and day-to-day operational activities. This is a long-term opportunity offering career growth within a stable and growing organization.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

✔ Prior experience working with Aerospace Fasteners, Industrial Fasteners, Hardware Distribution, Fastener Manufacturing, or Fastener Supply Companies

✔ Experience handling products such as bolts, screws, nuts, washers, rivets, pins, aerospace hardware, or related components

✔ Previous experience in Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Order Processing, or Sales Operations

✔ Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills

✔ Experience working with customer accounts, quotations, pricing, and order management

✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment

• Maintain customer, product, inventory, and pricing information

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding orders, pricing, and deliveries

• Generate sales and operational reports

• Provide exceptional customer service and account support

• Assist multiple departments to ensure smooth operational workflow

• Support sales process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Fastener Distribution, Aerospace Fasteners, Industrial Fasteners, or related industries

• Experience with quotes, order processing, customer service, and sales support

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-oriented environment
