POSITION DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

DEPARTMENT: West Boca Campus

REPORTS TO: Campus Pastor

STATUS: Part time

HOURS: 20 hours/week

LOCATION: West Boca / 10660 Sandalfoot Blvd, Boca Raton Fl. 33428

Your passion:

You must have a passion for people and assist the pastor by working directly with volunteers, the church body, and staff to fulfill the mission of the church โ€œmake Disciplesโ€. Youโ€™ll do this through planning and organizing church events, working closely with volunteers to train and transition them into their specific area of service, and lead in the administrative side of ministry.

As the Administrative Assistant, you must be able to utilize technology to organize and process the administrative side of ministry. You must be flexible with great personal skills willing to engage the church body with both their commendations and critiques. This position will utilize technical skills, personal skills, and spiritual maturity to assist the pastor in both managerial and ministerial church initiatives.

You will:

  • Reconcile the monthly church credit card report.

  • Lead the volunteer onboarding process, including conducting interviews, organizing training sessions, and integrating new volunteers.

  • Assist in strategizing and planning church events.

  • Process and simplify data to enhance church organization.

  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to achieve objectives across various ministries.

  • Manage weekly church attendance reports.
