Job description

Hasbro is building a world-class internal media organization - and ad operations is being built from the ground up. As Manager, Ad Operations, you will be the founding owner of this function: a hands-on campaign trafficking and QA specialist who not only runs day-to-day operations but also designs and stands up the systems, standards, and workflows that don't yet exist. As part of the Media Center of Excellence (COE), you will define how ad operations works at Hasbro - writing the playbook from scratch while ensuring every campaign launches accurately and runs flawlessly across Hasbro's media ecosystem.

You will be in the details every day - building campaigns, validating tracking, and ensuring everything runs correctly across platforms and ad servers which may include Campaign Manager 360, Meta, Google Ads, DV360, and Amazon.

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday -Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro's temporary location in Boston, MA.

A Day in the Life of a Manager, Ad Operations:

Build the Function

  • Stand up Hasbro's in-house ad operations function from the ground up - designing the workflows, SOPs, QA frameworks, and tech stack (ad servers, tracking architecture, verification tools, and workflow tooling) that don't yet exist.
  • Define naming conventions, campaign taxonomy, and governance standards from scratch, creating a single source of truth, and build the documentation and playbooks that will scale the function as the team grows.
  • Establish vendor, platform, and partner relationships, and partner with leadership to shape the operating model and lay the foundation for future hires.

Campaign Trafficking & QA

  • Traffic campaigns across platforms and ad servers (CM360, Meta, Google Ads, DV360, Amazon), managing UTM structures, pixels and tags (Floodlight, 1x1), and clean naming conventions, with pre-launch checks before every go live.
  • Own QA across creative, landing pages, tracking tags, and placements - validating that ads render and track correctly across environments and devices, and implementing brand safety and verification tools (DoubleVerify, IAS).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues, pixel fires, and data discrepancies end to end.

Delivery, Reporting & Vendor Coordination

  • Pull delivery reports comparing actual vs. planned vs. billed activity, and identify, investigate, and resolve pacing or billing discrepancies.
  • Partner with Finance and analytics teams on reconciliation and data validation, maintaining clean, accurate reporting inputs.
  • Manage IO creation, vendor specs, timelines, and approvals to keep campaigns on schedule.

Operational Excellence

  • Own and continuously improve SOPs for trafficking, QA, and tracking, reducing manual effort and staying current with platform changes and ad tech best practices.
  • Build strong working relationships across media buying, analytics, creative, and finance, serving as the team's reliable resource for campaign execution and troubleshooting while managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in ad operations, campaign trafficking, or digital media operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building or standing up processes, workflows, or functions from the ground up - comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.
  • Practical proficiency with ad serving platforms (Campaign Manager 360, Google Ad Manager) and major media buying platforms.
  • Working knowledge of tracking implementation (pixels, tags, UTMs, Floodlight) and measurement fundamentals.
  • Experience selecting, implementing, or optimizing ad ops tooling and tracking infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with brand safety and verification tools (DoubleVerify, IAS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data validation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with project management and workflow tools (Airtable, Adobe Workfront, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume campaign execution.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
  • Experience working in an agency or in-house media team preferred.
