  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with oral surgeons and present these plans along with financial details to patients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of all surgical procedures and other treatments.
  • Collect payments from patients, manage accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of patient procedures and insurance claims.
  • Communicate with insurance providers to resolve discrepancies in payments and coverage.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for the healthcare facility's management.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction by providing precise and clear information regarding their treatment and insurance benefits.
  • Stay informed of the latest updates in insurance policies and healthcare regulations relating to oral surgery and dental care.
  • Work closely with other administrative staff to ensure a seamless workflow and efficient patient service.
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially and interact professionally with patients and staff members at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Insurance Coordinator or similar administrative role in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of health insurance processes, including claims and billing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance details to patients clearly.
  • Demonstrable ability in developing patient treatment plans and managing financial aspects related to healthcare services.
  • Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of oral surgery procedures and terminologies is highly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Advanced certification in medical billing or insurance coordination is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and remain professional under pressure.
  • Ability to work full-time hours at our facility and not remotely.
