Job description

Direct hire opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented Life & Disability Insurance Processor in the Southfield area. The Life & Disability Insurance Processor will manage multiple projects, communicating with agents, various carrier partners, and internal team members.  This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of insurance case management and work for a company that values their employees.


This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

The compensation is $50,000 based on experience.

The position is on-site, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm with an opportunity to go Hybrid once trained.


Life & Disability Insurance Processor Duties:

  • Review and process life and disability insurance applications
  • Monitor and track applications throughout the underwriting process
  • Process policy service requests, including reinstatements, conversions, and policy changes
  • Maintain accurate records and update information within the company’s CRM system
  • Generate reports, conduct follow-up activities, and provide status updates as needed

 

Life & Disability Insurance Processor Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience within the life insurance industry
  • Active Michigan Life & Health License preferred
  • Tech savvy; proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
