Position Summary

Develop training platform for the organization including the management of the Learning Management System and design of the overall Instructional Design philosophy and strategy. Develop training programs for leadership development, staff development support of technical services training and design of an updated curriculum for new hires and aspiring talent as they navigate a career path within the organization. Perform all phases of instructional design including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Development of Training Strategy related to instructional Design
  • Serve as lead for team that scopes, designs, and develops learning products, including assets and assessments, to support a variety of delivery types, including self-paced, mobile, video, podcast, webinar and leader-led, focusing on digital and blended content creation
  • Designs, develops and deploys training content (scripts/storyboards) based on business needs to ensure proper developer assignment
  • Lead and manage training initiatives to ensure alignment, integration and execution of training strategies with key stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve training methods, modalities, deliverables and execution to enhance team effectiveness
  • Design curriculum to support the organization's Career Framework and corresponding SOP requirements
  • Design the New Employee Orientation, On-boarding and Overall new hire Training to drive optimal engagement and performance of team members
  • Conduct needs analysis to assess learning requirements and measurement of training efficacy.
  • Collaborate with SME to develop high quality online, blended and instructor-led course materials
  • Offers consultation to other teams and departments on instructional design and assessment to implement and maintain training.
  • Contribute to significant strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to building the vision and developing the strategy for Training and Development
  • Integrate curriculum into instructional design and LMS
  • Support Vendor Management
  • Participate as key member of the department team
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Degree in one of the following preferred: Business Administration (with emphasis in Training) Education Project Management Healthcare related field preferred

Experience

  • 4-6 years experience in designing, implementing delivering and monitoring training and development programs preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in the area of Instructional Design and Adult Learning Principles required

  • Understanding of Phlebotomy, Blood Operations or Health Care

  • Adept at managing multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
