The Role: We seek a highly motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our ASNA (https://www.asnaglobal.com/) team. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you are responsible for driving sales by providing technical expertise and support to our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background combined with excellent communication and sales skills. Responsibilities include:

  • New Business Development and Customer Retention: Reporting to the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing, employ your technical expertise and exceptional critical thinking and solutions-orientation to sell our innovative SMART Sealing® solutions to new and existing customers. While also developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their technical requirements, and providing ongoing support.
  • Communication: Leverage your outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities to address complex client challenges in the semiconductor sector. Conduct product demos and presentations to potential and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and inside sales team to identify customer needs and provide technical solutions. Assist in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical proposals.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Apply your innate curiosity and eagerness to stay updated with your skills, industry trends, and advancements in technology to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Close Deals with Precision: Use your deep understanding of the sales cycle to craft and deliver compelling solutions, driving business growth, and contributing to our people-centered, customer-first culture. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Technical Sales: Technical skills in Mechanical / Material engineering with a proven track record of success in Sales
  • Strong Communications: Excellent communication and presentation skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: BS/BA in business, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 4+ years in B2B technical consultative sales role; semiconductor industry experience preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Unwavering integrity, self-directed, exceptional communications, analytical thinking, with a curious, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Technical Knowledge and Proficiency: understanding of mechanical engineering and/or material sciences basics, proven applied-learning capability, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
