Safety Manager (3+ years of safety management exp. req) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Safety Manager to add to their team in Picayune, MS. You will lead safety initiatives across multiple blending sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and cultivating a strong safety culture. Your responsibilities will include implementing safety programs, conducting audits, and managing Workers' Compensation claims. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safety professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering a safe workplace. To be successful in this role, you must experience designing and implementing safety programs. Safety Manager (3+ years of safety management exp. req) Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and audit safety programs and procedures
• Provide comprehensive safety training to all site employees
• Assist sites with OSHA 300/300A logs and maintain job hazard analysis
• Oversee contractor/visitor safety orientations
• Coordinate with vendors for outsourced safety training
• Monitor Workers' Compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work plans
• Establish and track annual safety goals

Safety Manager (3+ years of safety management exp. req) Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety management experience required
• Manufacturing or related industry experience required
• OSHA standards and regulations knowledge required
• Experience designing and implementing safety programs required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
