Continuous Improvement Coordinator (Production/Manufacturing)

Summary of Position:

Oversee the workflow and needs of the operations staff in different areas utilizing Lean Principles while working in conjunction with the management team. Continue to learn Operations’ department functions as they evolve. Is expected to continuously look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes. Some of the other key responsibilities of this position are.

• Enforce the standardized work functions are being performed throughout all operations departments.
• Direct the training of associates on operations processes and equipment.
• Manage team functions and Standard Work processes in all areas of Operations.
• Evaluate associates to provide help with improving and/or correcting performance and behavior.
• Participate in the Performance Review process.
• Performing daily product reports and transactional functions.
• Work Managers on assigned projects.
• Increase leadership skills and various tasks to allow progression to the next career level.
• Manage Attendance processes.
• Perform additional duties as the position evolves or as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to direct others and work without direct oversight.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and other Operational functions. Knowledge of Lean Principals and continue to learn how to view work areas to offer improvement for eliminating waste.
• Will need a proven ability to work well with others and good verbal and written communication skills.
• Need the skills to or capability of learning Microsoft products such as Microsoft Email, Word and Excel and AX.
• Will need to be available to work overtime, which may include the weekends.
• This position is categorized as Safety Sensitive.

• Continuous Improvement Coordinator: 2 years (Required)
• Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
