Insurance Advisor - Arlington Truck Center

Job Description: Verify insurance, accident car claims, follow up with deductible payments, and follow up with outside claims.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Outbound/ Inbound calls
• Notate accounts
• File CPI claims
• Establish the initial first party claim file based on case facts, best practices, protocols, regulatory issues and available resources
• Conduct investigations in order to determine if the policy will respond to the loss and investigate the legitimacy of the claim. Review information including, but not limited to, estimates, photos and/ or videos of property damage appraisals and condition reports and other pertinent information required to fully substantiate the claim.
• Evaluate information to determine cost of loss.
• inform manager if claim exceeds limits, making recommendations where appropriate.
• Establish claims from a first and third party perspective. Initialize and handle subrogation claims as appropriate.
• Assess policy coverage for submitted claims and notify corporate accounts of any issues.
• Negotiate a fair cost-effective settlement with customers and service providers.
• Ensure service partners are working within prescribed standards and coordinate whether or not the vehicle gets fixed, in coordinaiton with the sales team.
• Maintain updated, current and organized claims files.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in all frequently used business software programs, applications or tools (word, excel, powerpoint, outlooks, etc.)
• Strong organizational sklills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with simutaneous deadlines seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• 8 Hour Shift

Compensation: $17.00-$18.00 (Depening on Experience)
