Food & Beverage Coordinator

Position Summary

The Food and Beverage Coordinator provides support for the food and beverage Managers. This person will assist with reservation systems, inventory and menus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Menu Assistance: Edit, print and update (pricing, new items), all menus for Forum, IRD, Pool Terrace Cafe, and TNVR, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Responsible for inventory of menu paper and covers, and orders as needed.
• Assist in managing and maintaining POS and reservation systems to streamline ordering, bookings, and guest management processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Update and support food and beverage inventory counts including regular stock counts, ordering, and restocking to prevent shortages and minimize waste
• Purchasing Assistance: Ordering of Outlet equipment through Birchstreet
• Coverage Support: Stepping in to provide extra support and assisting FOH when required

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or experience

• 2 years' experience at a luxury or high-end property preferred. High school graduate, college graduate preferred.
• Language skills: Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate in Spanish or other foreign languages a plus
• Reasoning ability: Ability to solve problems and use independent judgment

• Office work. Estimate 70% of time is spent sitting at desk.

• Vision requirements: constant need to produce products, complete forms, read reports, view computer screen. Frequent need to see small detail.
• Hearing requirements: constant need to communicate in person and over the phone.
