About the Role
We are currently seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to join the team at Savory Hospitality. Our ideal candidate will be someone who can effectively multi-task in the catering and events world because they are involved in every stage and process of an event, ensuring that it is executed successfully. The Hospitality Coordinator will be responsible for providing effective oversight for event set-up and staff management. Events Coordinators will also be working closely with culinary, events, logistics, sales & accounts managers, and company clients, to achieve memorable and successful events.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution
  • Coordinate designated events from preparation through breakdown.
  • Review Banquet Event Orders and confirm event details and requirements.
  • Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown.
  • Ensure each event meets Savorys service, presentation, and hospitality standards.
  • Identify potential issues and develop solutions before and during events.
Client Service
  • Maintain clear communication with clients throughout event planning and execution.
  • Confirm client and guest needs are met or exceeded.
  • Build strong client relationships that support repeat business.
  • Provide polished, professional, and attentive service.
Team Coordination
  • Coordinate with hospitality managers, culinary, operations, logistics, sales, and account management teams.
  • Provide onsite direction and oversight to event staff.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to review past and upcoming events.
  • Support Senior Hospitality Managers with projects as needed.
Inventory and Administration
  • Maintain event tracking systems for equipment, beverages, and supplies.
  • Assist with monthly equipment, liquor, beer, and dry-goods inventory.
  • Maintain accurate and organized event documentation.
Job Requirements

  • At least two years of hospitality, catering, events, or related experience.
