The VP, Travel Partnerships will lead one of CLEAR's most important growth engines by developing and scaling strategic partnerships that drive customer acquisition, enrollment growth, and revenue across our travel business. This leader will own partner strategy, business development, and relationship management across airlines, online travel agencies, hospitality brands, loyalty programs, and adjacent travel ecosystems, while partnering cross-functionally to bring new opportunities to market and maximize their impact.

What you'll do:

  • Define and execute CLEAR's travel partnership strategy, identifying and prioritizing opportunities that accelerate enrollment growth, revenue generation, and market expansion across the travel ecosystem.
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners across airlines, hospitality, online travel agencies, loyalty programs, and other travel-related organizations.
  • Lead the full partnership lifecycle from sourcing and pipeline development through commercial structuring, negotiation, launch, optimization, renewal, and expansion.
  • Develop innovative partnership models that increase customer acquisition, expand distribution channels, and create long-term value for both CLEAR and its partners.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to evaluate opportunities, influence roadmap decisions, and ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Establish scalable operating mechanisms, reporting frameworks, and performance management processes that provide visibility into enrollment generation, revenue contribution, and partnership effectiveness.
  • Represent CLEAR externally as a leader within the travel industry, strengthening our position as a preferred strategic partner and identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that inform long-term growth strategy.
How you'll measure success:
  • Growth in partner-driven enrollments, customer acquisition, and market penetration across the travel ecosystem.
  • Revenue growth, profitability, and business impact generated through strategic partnership channels.
  • Expansion, retention, and overall health of key strategic partnerships, including growth within existing partner relationships.
  • Strength and quality of partnership pipeline, including conversion from prospect to active partner.
  • Development of scalable partnership operating mechanisms, reporting frameworks, and organizational capabilities.
What you're great at:
  • Experience in partnerships, business development, sales, commercial strategy, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven success building and scaling revenue-generating partnerships within travel, consumer, subscription, marketplace, or technology businesses.
  • Deep understanding of the travel ecosystem, including airlines, hospitality, online travel agencies, loyalty programs, and related distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing complex strategic commercial agreements that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience owning revenue targets, evaluating partnership economics, and driving business performance.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • A builder mentality with experience creating scalable processes, operating models, and high-performing teams in rapidly evolving environments.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional commercial talent.
  • Customer-obsessed, highly resourceful, and motivated by delivering outsized business outcomes.
