POSITION SUMMARY
The Server is responsible for providing warm, attentive, and efficient service to all guests. This role requires strong product knowledge, active engagement with guests, consistent execution of steps of service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Servers must maintain a clean and organized workspace and uphold all company policies, health and safety standards, and hospitality expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests.

• Ensure all guest needs, requests, and concerns are handled promptly and effectively.

• Build rapport and develop returning regular guests.

• Follow Clementina's steps of service consistently to ensure excellent and predictable guest experiences.

• Assess guest satisfaction throughout service and involve a Manager when needed.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain full knowledge of the food menu, specials, beverages, wines by the glass, and bottle selections.

• Confidently describe dishes and make recommendations tailored to guest preferences.

• Understand and communicate ingredients, allergens, and dietary considerations accurately.

• Be able to explain preparation methods, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.

Accountability & Operations

• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work according to company attendance standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and expectations outlined in the Employee Handbook and House Rules.

• Follow all California and San Francisco health and safety regulations.

• Complete all assigned side work, opening/closing duties, and cleaning responsibilities.

• Communicate all 86s, guest issues, or service concerns to Management promptly.

• Uphold Clementina's brand standards at all times.
