Facility: State-of-the-art, 100-bed psychiatric hospital that will provide a full continuum of behavioral and addiction treatment services to patients of all ages.
Overview: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the overall assessment, implementation of treatment, and evaluation of quality clinical services for patients. The CNO also manages the program of Quality Assurance and Risk Management. The DON is responsible to ensure that there is a good working relationship between the direct care staff, the physicians, and the allied health professionals and administration by providing accurate and timely communication, clinical consultation, and problem solving recommendations.
Skills: The person hired will have a minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in an Acute Psych Inpatient setting and demonstrated ability to successfully meet licensing and accreditation standards as well as applicable federal and state laws/regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to direct patient care. Requires a minimum of a BSN, and a Masters in progress if not already earned in a related field and certification in psychiatric nursing or MSN highly desired.
