How much do cno nursing jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Cno Nursing vs Registered Nurse?
| Aspect | Cno Nursing | Registered Nurse |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license, additional CNO-specific training | Registered Nurse (RN) license, BSN or ADN degree |
| Work Environment | Long-term care facilities, clinics, hospitals, outpatient settings | Hospitals, clinics, community health, outpatient care |
| Employer & Industry | Healthcare facilities, nursing homes, outpatient clinics | Hospitals, healthcare organizations, clinics |
While CNO Nursing professionals focus on specific nursing roles with particular certifications, Registered Nurses have broader responsibilities and higher educational requirements. Both roles are vital in healthcare, but RNs typically have more advanced training and scope of practice.
