The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Assistant PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) Manager in the Police Department with an application deadline of Sunday, May 12th 2024. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants. Selected Qualified Applicants should expect an interview date of Friday, May 17th 2024.

• This supervisory position will work under the direction of the PSAP Manager and will be responsible for assisting in directing the operations of Minot Central Dispatch.

• Qualified applicants will have a working knowledge of 911, radio, and computer-aided dispatch operating principles.
• Qualified applicants will possess a valid North Dakota Driver License.
• Applicants must also have a general understanding of data networks and server environments.
• Supervisory experience in an emergency communications center is preferred but not required.

• The assigned salary range for the position of Assistant PSAP Manager under the 2024 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 65, which is $63,135- $93,724 annually.
• This is a full time, Exempt position not eligible for overtime.
