Resident Project Representative/Construction Manager/Inspector

Hazen and Sawyer has exceptional opportunities for a Resident Project Representative/Construction Manager and Construction Inspectors on major water and wastewater facility projects. Duties include all aspects of construction inspection and observations, administration and coordination of management.

The primary function in this position is to observe and manage contractor’s work to ensure compliance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Facilitates coordination and communication between Owner and Contractor to ensure construction activities do not impact Owner operations. Assists with construction administration documentation: RFI’s, RFC’s, field orders, claims, submittal/schedule review, meetings, payment applications, etc.

Preferred experience and credentials include (but not mandatory):

• 5-20+ years of experience in construction administration and observation of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management;
• Significant water or wastewater facility construction experience in lieu of the aforementioned degree will be given strong consideration.
• Professional Engineer license in Pennsylvania desired

Candidates will be based onsite at construction field office while assigned to Hazen and Sawyer’s Philadelphia, PA office.
