Enervise is a leading provider of commercial HVAC, plumbing, building automation systems (BAS), special projects, installations, and service solutions across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Project Sales Engineer to drive project sales in the Greater Dayton market. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to build your own book of business while partnering with an experienced team of Project Sales Engineers and business development leaders.

This role is ideal for an HVAC professional, mechanical engineer, estimator, or consultative sales professional who enjoys developing client relationships, designing solutions, and closing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sell commercial HVAC retrofit, design-build, building automation, and energy-saving projects.
  • Generate opportunities through Enervise's existing maintenance customer base and personal business development efforts.
  • Build relationships with building owners, facility managers, engineers, and contractors.
  • Qualify opportunities, develop project scope, coordinate design and engineering resources, prepare proposals, and close projects.
  • Serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with engineering partners, subcontractors, project management, and operations to ensure successful project execution.
Territory

Primary focus will be the Greater Dayton area, with opportunities in Northern Cincinnati and Western Columbus.

Desired Qualifications
  • HVAC, mechanical construction, BAS/controls, plumbing, or energy solutions experience
  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
  • Experience in commercial HVAC design, estimating, or project sales
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to develop and close business opportunities
