Business Operations Assistant

Position Summary:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and directing all activities of the programs of Advanced Home Health. In collaboration with the regional president implements and evaluates goals and objectives for the area. Validates that established standards of care are followed and compliant with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and directing operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate area and services.
- Assist with fiscal planning, budgeting, and management.
- Assist with evaluating services and programs.
- Ensuring personnel development including orientation, in-service education, and continuing education.
- Coordinating with other program areas and management as appropriate.
- Active and involved in local community trends and events as indicated.
- Ensures that appropriate service policies are developed and implemented.
- Ensuring that supportive services are available to all personnel.
- Work with Human Resources regarding conflict and complaints relating to staff and disciplinary actions.
- Work with local leadership to address patient complaints and resolution and appropriately noted in
- the Incident log as indicated.
- Assist with projects for all Texas agencies up to and including planning, organization,
- implementation and completion.
- Provide administrative support to the Texas leadership team and other team members as needed.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports.

- In coordination with Human Resources ensures that all personnel remain current on all renewable documents.
- Work with clinical leaders to ensure all patient documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Work with all leaders to ensure that payroll is correct and submitted by specified deadlines as indicated.
- Acts as Liaison with Central Intake to ensure successful Intake process and communication.
- Assist with Medical Records and Orders Management as indicated
- Assist with oversight for Texas back-office work and tasks that could impact billing.
- Coordinate with Central QA Team to ensure F2F and follow up is complete.
- Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication throughout the organization.
- Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
- Ensure that staff is informed and up to date on new information and changes in processes.
- Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in planning and organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
1.Minimum three years’ experience in health care management preferably in health operations. Five years’ experience preferred.
2.Knowledge of corporate business management.
SKILLS REQUIRED
1.Demonstrated ability to Supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
2.Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
3.Demonstrates good communication and public relations skills.
4.Ability to multitask in high stress situations and communicate appropriately.
