Description:

MSM Technology is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an IT help desk technician supporting our corporate staff. The ideal candidate has some prior help desk experience and/or education and will best fit someone with an interest in cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity. It also requires familiarity and experience with graphic design to support other business marketing requirements.


IT Responsibilities (80%):

  • Respond to help desk tickets and assist employees with technical issues
  • Troubleshoot Dell laptop and Windows 10/11 issues, including performance, hardware, software, network and internet
  • Follow established procedures and processes for IT support
  • Monitor network logs and identify and escalate anomalies
  • Review phishing emails and identify security threats
  • Provide IT systems and security research assistance and recommend solutions for technical problems

Marketing Design Responsibilities (20%):

  • Design and modify graphics, layouts and formats for various marketing and branding materials
  • Assist in the preparation of presentation materials
  • Suggest and implement approved website updates both technically (IT) and visually (marketing design)
  • Identify and suggest improvements to current materials
Requirements:
  • HUBZone REQUIREMENT: As a Federal contractor, MSM Technology must meet HUBZone employee requirements when bidding for government contracts.   • Must have an ACTIVE Secret level clearance or higher
  • 1+ years of relevant experience or a recent graduate in a degree program related to information technology, including coursework relevant to systems administration, networking and cybersecurity
  • Proficiency required in Microsoft O365 applications including:
  • Excel – manipulating and transferring data, developing charts and tables
  • Word – design and formatting, charts, tables and other visuals
  • PowerPoint – creating and editing visuals (charts, graphics, tables)
  • Proficiency required in Adobe Illustrator or similar tool
  • Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and an attention to detail
  • Creative mind with an eye for professional design
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows 10/11, Crowdstrike, WordPress, and graphic design tools
