Position Summary:

The Helpdesk Support Technician will provide first-line Helpdesk support to employees and assign Helpdesk tickets, as needed. Core responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, application software, and peripheral, as well as creating and maintaining documentation for IT equipment inventories and audits.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and support desktops and other IT peripherals
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance workstation software
  • Coordinate repairs and upgrades with departments
  • Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide basic administration of network accounts and passwords
  • Participate in third-party risk management review efforts to ensure adequate security practices are in place
  • Produce and organize physical and electronic documentation for reports, audits, and IT troubleshooting
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
  • University degree in computer science or minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Helpdesk support
  • Experience with desktop administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with network security principles and desktop management best practices
  • Knowledge of Windows active directory environments
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point applications
  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, as needed
  • Ability to travel to all Indiana and Ohio locations, as needed
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds as part of normal duties
