Order Fulfillment Line Lead

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Exceptional verbal and written communication. Must be able to communicate with all departments as needed to ensure completion of assigned work.

• Ability to assign, train and supervise pick line workers on the work assignments designated for the day, week, and month. • Highly proficient data entry skills, experience and knowledge of using a computer and basic math skills.

• Responsible for training, cross training, evaluating and motivating staff. Assist management in maintaining proper discipline and group moral within the workforce.

• Ability to establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectations.

• Uphold and enforce all safety and security policies within work area. Responsible for all safety issues affecting employees, including taking action to eliminate risk of injury as needed

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.

• Must be able to multitask in a dynamic team environment, with little direction, and be detailed oriented with strong organization skills and ability to keep deadlines.

• Ability to read and apply written instructions.

• Ability to learn quickly and a willingness to ask appropriate questions as needed.

• Physical ability to carry out the duties, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods

• Strong work ethic and flexibility to work OT determined by the need of the department including weekends and evenings.

• Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.

• The ability to create and maintain positive relationships with both external customers and internal departments.

• Work with the team to improve current processes and create efficiencies.

• High school Diploma or equivalent.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

➢ Leads the Order Fulfillment activities for their assigned area.

➢ Manages the receipts, storage, picking and shipping of all inventories related to the direct-to-consumer business.

➢ Communicates and models job responsibilities, performance expectations, and the values of the company.

➢ Assign, train and supervise line workers on the work assignments designated for the day.

➢ Read and disseminate information on the product specifications and packaging requirements.

➢ Continuous monitoring of the lines to ensure efficiency and accuracy of work orders.

➢ Assist and complete scanning, data entry, batch collecting, and production work as needed

➢ Maintains uninterrupted flow of work through coordination with other departments to maintain efficiency as per standards.

➢ Communicates with Quality Control for any defects found and product placed on hold for evaluation.

➢ Establish work procedures to meet customer deadlines.

➢ Complies with & enforces all safety rules & regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

➢ Engage and be Involved In Operational Excellence (OE) and process improvement activities in efforts to make packaging processes more efficient and simplify practices in meeting the culture of "Working Smarter, Not Harder" philosophy.

➢ Communicate clear expectations to production personnel and keep them informed of matters pertaining to the job.
