Marketing Specialist

What you will be doing:

• Leading the creation of engaging content for marketing collateral, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and email newsletters.
• Manage the success of our CRM (HubSpot).
• Lead with the implementation of online strategies such as SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing to increase visibility, attract leads, and drive conversions.
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
• Create and execute advertising campaigns, promotional activities, and marketing materials to reach and engage target audiences across various channels.
• Monitor and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing insights to inform future decision-making and strategy refinement.
• Conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and market trends, as well as analyzing competitor strategies and industry developments.
• Develop ideas for sales tools and materials to effectively communicate value, overcome objections, and close deals.
• Ensure all content is aligned with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and key messaging objectives.

Your experience and skills include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required.
• Experience in marketing, business, hospitality, community outreach, public relations, or related areas.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Lightroom), CRM (HubSpot), and Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Photography & video for corporate content creation.
• Familiarity with various digital marketing channels and platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and analytics tools, to reach target audiences and drive engagement.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy industry (the event industry is so fun and unlike any other ).
• Generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, content creation, and brand messaging to capture audience attention and differentiate from competitors.
• Understanding of brand management principles and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all marketing touch points.
• Analytical skills to utilize data analysis to track campaign performance, measure KPIs, and draw actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI. 

Your team and working environment:
Sight & Sound Productions / Mugwump Productions is based in Jacksonville, FL. This is an in-person position, and you will be working in our newly built building conveniently located near the Town Center (off 295 & Beach Blvd.). Flexibility to WFH on occasion is also available.
