Job description

About the Team:

AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and experience marketing. At our core, we're here to fuel AlphaSense's growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that's widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.

Role Overview

AlphaSense is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and strategic Marketing Events Coordinator to join our fast-paced Marketing team in the NA region. In this role, you will aid in the planning and execution of industry trade shows that generate leads, drive pipeline, increase brand visibility, and deepen customer relationships. You'll be working with the regional Marketing Events team-coordinating logistics, onsite activations, and ensuring every detail reflects our high standards.

The ideal candidate thrives and keeps smiling in a fast-paced environment, is obsessively detail-oriented, and has experience working on multiple B2B technology trade shows simultaneously. You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, traveling frequently, and meeting high standards for timeliness and thoroughness. Reporting to the Director of Event Marketing, this role is ideal for an event marketer with 3-5 years of experience coordinating events at a technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and execution of AlphaSense's NA tradeshows, from pre-event planning through post-event reporting.
  • Manage logistics, including booth design, vendor coordination, shipping, registration, collateral, onsite staffing, and lead capture.
  • Act as the on-site lead during certain events - driving setup, maintaining team energy, and ensuring a seamless attendee experience.
  • Measure and report on event ROI, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Research new event opportunities and help optimize our event presence for impact.
  • Oversee the preparation of event toolkits, team briefs, and pre-show enablement materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Track event spend against budgets set by the Director, flagging variances and maintaining accurate expense records.
  • Track sponsorship packages and ensure all contracted benefits (speaking slots, logo placement, attendee lists, etc.) are fulfilled.
  • Partner with Sales/SDR teams on pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, and post-event lead handoff/follow-up cadence.
  • Maintain a master calendar of NA events, deadlines (abstract submissions, booth deposits, shipping cutoffs), and ownership.
  • Manage swag, giveaways, and booth inventory across events, including reordering and storage logistics.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience coordinating technology trade shows and events in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management skills - juggling multiple events, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Hands-on, execution-first mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - you're comfortable working with onsite teams and external vendors.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors on logistics and pricing within a set budget.
  • Creative eye for booth design and on-brand experiential environments.
  • Self-motivated with high standards of professionalism and accountability.
  • Experience with marketing/event platforms (e.g., Salesforce,Marketo, Asana, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for expense tracking and reporting
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time within the US and Canada, including some weekends, and to lift/transport event materials (booth components, boxes of collateral) as needed.
  • Valid passport and/or driver's license for cross-border US/Canada travel.

Why AlphaSense

  • Work with a high-performing, mission-driven team that values innovation and execution and has a lot of fun doing it.
  • Career growth opportunities abound as we are experiencing hyper-growth
  • Opportunity to shape how AlphaSense shows up at some of the most influential industry events.
  • Competitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
