Senior Accountant

Century Group’s private equity client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. You’ll play a crucial role in overseeing accounting matters related to our funds and properties. This position is based in Denver. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.  Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Scrutinize quarterly consolidated fund reports prepared by the fund administrator to ensure technical GAAP accuracy and proper ledger maintenance.

• Execute corporate-related accounting processes, including Travel & Expense, A/P and preparation of accurate and timely quarterly corporate financial reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

• Maintain awareness of all accounting-related matters related to the firm’s assets and entities.

• Oversee cash flow, propose capital calls, and manage distributions.

• Project manage period-end financial statement reporting, year-end audits, and tax compliance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and with appropriate urgency.

• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
